Another relatively fruitless day. Watching the stupidity Of the government. My guess is that the striking down of the Arizona immigration law is a trade off for the Affordable Care Act. My faith in the Fairness of this Nations Supreme Court is very limited, especially after the ruling for fair elections and funding lopsidedness of one party or another.
Finally figured out where the Mafia finally ended up. This group of justices is not for the American people. It's for corporations. A lifetime job. Most of these people are whacked anyway. The decisions that they've made lately makes me wonder if they aren't leftovers of the judges that were bought and paid for by organized crime, and when organized crime moved into legitimate businesses and corporations and republican organizations, they didn't move with them. We'll find out if they strike down the healthcare bill.
What is the differemce between outsourcing and sending jobs overseas? The difference is, is that the American Worker is better off if the job stays here. So why is the union against it? Because of the way it's done. You congress has already begun to compete globally for your job by making your state. "right to work". Right to work states make less in wages by not authorizing unions to come in and negotiate a wage and benefit program. If every state in the union were to let unions organize workers we'd all make the same amount of money for a specific job, and if it was not a fair wage, you and your brothers would strike, and at one time, which is long gone now, eveeryone went out on strike until there was some type of agreement. What they have done now is divide and conquer by changing labor laws in such a way that most of our northern states have established unions, and our southern states are right to work. So now with the unpopularity of sending jobs overseas, they have worked to lower the middle-class wage, as well as healthcare and benefits, and they have used your congress to do it, by placing sympathetic politicians in southern states.
Southern and Southwestern states were notorious for being low wage for a lot of years, so many of the residents moved to the northern states where the unions were established and the wage and benefit rates were higher. When unions started to organize in the southern states, companies decided to move these jobs overseas where they could get cheap labor and begin to move ther products globally. Finally, seeing the error of ther ways people in other countries stated to form unions, and it all became a catch 22.
Over the years I've seen Made in Japan disappear, Made in Poland disappear. Made in France disappear. And why do you suppose that is? The workers got smart and formed unions. So now we have an economic crisis and the unions have become the villain here. And yeah...Unions went through a period where they were less than honorable. Some of the Union officials got tired of seeing the people in their membership get beat up and shot and starved out. So they went looking for less reputable sources to help them battle the companies that had bought their way into government, and were driving union employees into the ground.
History repeats itself. We have forgotten those years. We no longer notice that an assembler in texas makes about $10 per hr and an assembler in Michigan makes $35 per hr, and so rather than come together to right the wrong, we battle each other, because these companies threaten to send these jobs overseas to non-union slave labor places lie China.
What's the alternative? Well rather than walking over everyones picket line, we need to get the law back on the side of the people again, rather than the side on money. Do you think someone like Romney is going to help you out with that? Think again. It all started back in the Reagan era, another Bush. Then came Clinton from Arkansas. Another right to work state, and it has just continued on until now. We're almost full circle.
